In Jonathan Swift’s satirical book, Gulliver’s Travels, the first nation that Gulliver visits is Lilliput ─ where the inhabitants are tiny compared to Gulliver. They find this ‘man mountain’ intriguing and want to examine him closely. At one point he puts a tiny Lilliputian into his pocket to examine
